THE DOMAIN
The Domaine du Mas Rouge is located on the exceptional site of Aresquiers in Vic la Gardiole, less than a kilometer from the sea, between Sète and Montpellier.
Since 1997, the property has been constantly evolving, particularly following the renovation of the buildings, a major element of the identity of Mas Rouge. The restoration of the vinification cellar in 2002 is a happy marriage between respect for a singular old setting (with its thick stone walls and its majestic wooden frame) and the insertion of the most modern technical equipment required for the production of our wines. A major restructuring of our vineyard allows us today to present a range of white, rosé and red wines which complements our production of Muscat!
The vineyard benefits from a privileged location: protected from the sea winds by the large Bois des Aresquiers, and from the mistral by the Gardiole hills (advice to amateurs, these 2 sites are among the most beautiful hikes in our region and in France) .
It is a veritable oasis set with flora (pine forests and scrubland) and fauna (pink flamingos, laughing gulls, gray herons, etc.).
You can even hear the waves roar on windy days!
