WHITE WINES
The Domaine du Mas Rouge proposes 2 types of white wines :
1) DRY WHITE WINES
a) VPD OC "BOIS ROUGE" :
Very aromatic dry white wine due to the grape variety : muscat petits grains.
In Mouth : Notes of citrus fruite.
In Nose: explosive ripe fruits.
Tasting :
To appreciate in the year, decanter and struck on 6°C, with shellfishes (oysters, mussels...) or with roasted fished.

b) VDP OC "DOMAINE DU MAS ROUGE" :
Very aromatic dry white wine, fruity and mineral.
In Mouth : Roundness, sweetness with freshness
In Nose : Exotic fruits (litchi) and yello fruits (peach, apricot).
Tasting :
To consume frash (8° C) , in the year, with shellfishes, fishes, asparagus or whith cheese (goat cheese) ... or whith aligot.
2) DES VINS NATURELLEMENT DOUX (VDP Oc DOUX)
a) VDP OC DOUX "QUINTESCENCE DU PETIT GRAIN"
In Noes : Vanilla, coconut
In Mouth : Exotics notes and citrus fruits.
Tasting :
To appreciate, fresh, on l’aperitif, on salty or sweet toasts, with foie
gras either with chocolate dessertsor with lemon, mandarin, or grape fruits sherbets.
b) VDP OC DOUX " HAUTES FLEURS" 2003
1000 botles only. Half-Hogheads during 12 months. Manual harvest in boxes, selective picking of the clusters in thearrival to the cellar, selection of the oldest vine (40 year) and the best juices to respect the expression of the soil of Aresquiers. Slow fermentation
In Nose : Magnificently exotic :litcis, crystallized peels. .
In Mouth : beautiful balance and finale on notes of citrus fruits.
Tasting :
To appreciate in the aperitif with some foie gras ; in dessert with a compote in the
cooked rhubarb in the lively life (caramelizd) or with mandarin ice, in the
syrup of alcohol of mandarin, spinkled with Malabar's white pepper.
